MY ORIGIN STORY

Life came at me fast and hard when I was just 7, and from that point on, I’ve been building my strength through resilience. By 10, I wrote my first song, knowing that creativity would guide my life. At 12, I wrote my first novel, although lost in a cybercafé in Venezuela, I never stopped creating—whether through writing or drawing, I always found an artistic outlet to nourish my soul.

I dreamt of something extraordinary, but my country was crumbling under civil war, I knew I needed to escape. After graduating as a Graphic Design in 2011, I fled Venezuela in 2013, pursued by a government I had fought against. I lost family to the violence, leaving behind everything—my home, my identity and even my dreams of doing music for a living.

Arriving in the U.S., I chased the American Dream but was still grieving everything I’d sacrificed. In my loneliness, I made mistakes and hit rock bottom. I considered ending it all. My only friend at the time reminded me how far I’d come and everything it was worth living for, sparking a fire in me. A flame that kept me alive.

That fire is Rogue—the voice within me, demanding I rise every time life tries to break me.
